Above the Mitsukoshi department store in Epcot's Japan pavilion are sister restaurants Teppan Edo, a teppanyaki steak house where chefs do performance cooking at 20 grills, and Tokyo Dining, for sushi and pre-plated meals. Menu standouts at Teppan Edo include the filet mignon and the Tori chicken breast. It also has a small sushi selection and a kids' menu with Teppan-style chicken or shrimp with rice and veggies. The more stylish Tokyo Dining offers up tempura dishes, assorted sushi rolls, and grilled fish, chicken, or steak served with teriyaki or other sauces plus "sukiyaki beef rice." Both restaurants have something great to watch: Teppan Edo has the performing chefs; Tokyo Dining has a great view of the Japan pavilion.
