Why We Like It

This hotel is well-located if exploring Disney World and Disney Springs are your main goals. But it also offers roomy accommodations, lots of freebies, and is definitely easy on the wallet.

Fodor's Expert Review

Just minutes from a Disney entrance, this award-winning all-suites (one- and two-bedroom, two-bath) accommodation is perfect for a big family or group on a small budget who want a home away from home. Not only is the hotel close to Disney, it's only a few miles along Palm Parkway from SeaWorld, Universal, and even the airport, so the frenzy of I–4 can be avoided altogether. A free breakfast and late-afternoon cocktails and snacks on some weekdays sweeten the bargain; a large, heated pool makes swimming possible even on chilly winter evenings; and a fitness center lets guests work off any excess energy. The hotel has no full-service restaurant, but lots of nearby eateries deliver, and a supermarket is only yards away to supply well-equipped kitchens.

Tip Unlike so many other properties in the area, this one has no resort fees.

Room

Practical, one and two bedroom suites with contemporary style are clean and well suited to the family on a budget. Every suite has a Queen sleep sofa, in addition to a variety of sleeping options in the bedrooms, from doubles to kings. The fully equipped full-size kitchen mean meals to be cooked in the room, and Wi-Fi, local calls, and a flat screen TV are among the amenities found here. There are on-site self-laundry facilities as well. But be sure to allocate duties, as this is supposed to be a vacation for everyone.

You Should Know If you'd prefer a quiet room, ask for one that doesn't overlook the pool, which is open late into the evening, and is often filled with people having a great time.

Bathroom

The suites feature basic bathrooms, with tub/shower combinations, or a glass enclosed shower. Vanities have one sink, but plenty of room to spread out toiletries.

Lobby

Bright and simply decorated, the lobby features wood paneled check-in desks and a few cozy seating areas. But the biggest attraction is the complimentary appetizers and drinks (beer, wine, sodas) served at an evening reception held Mon-Wed. A 24-hour convenience store, The Pantry, sells drinks and snacks, and a game room offers a variety of video games.

You Should Know This three-story property has no elevators, but staff will assist in carrying luggage.

Pool

A generous heated pool has ample lounge chairs and is well lit in the evenings. There's also a Jacuzzi to salve those sore, park-weary muscles, and a separate children’s wading pool for the little ones.

Gym

The small fitness room contains a treadmill, stair machine and elliptical for cardio workouts.

Dining

A complimentary hot breakfast buffet offers a hearty start to a day of park-hopping. The cleverly designed buffet area means lines are efficient and there's little waiting. The dining area contains ample tables and chairs.

Drinking

The property has no lounge or bar, but does offer complimentary beer and wine in the lobby several evenings a week.
