Jurassic Park Discovery Center
Jurassic Park Discovery Center Review
If there's a scintilla of information your kids don't know about dinosaurs, they can learn it here. There are demonstration areas where a realistic raptor is being hatched, and where you can see what you'd look like (or sound like) if you were a dino. In the Beasaur area ("Be-a-Saur"), you get a dinosaur's view of the world. There are numerous hands-on exhibits and a dinosaur trivia game, although the museum-like feel seems a little off-kilter at an amusement park. Burger Digs, the casual restaurant upstairs, is a nice place to take an air-conditioned break, and tables on the balcony overlook the lagoon. Step outside and a wide promenade affords a lovely perspective of the entire park. For people with disabilities: The attraction is fully wheelchair accessible.
