When to Go

Redstone and Marble are popular destinations June through August for hiking in the nearby Elk Mountains and fly-fishing. From September to October there is usually a brief autumn, which peaks with the blazing turning of the aspen trees. In the winter months, the area offers backcountry skiing and ice climbing.
