Getting Here and Around

Highway 12 from the south (San Francisco) or north (Santa Rosa) is the main route into Sonoma. North from Highway 121 to Sonoma Plaza the road is also called Broadway. There are two- and three-hour unmetered parking spaces around the plaza, and free all-day parking can be found a block or two off the plaza. Once you've parked, a pleasant stroll takes you past many of the town's restaurants, shops, and tasting rooms. High-profile and boutique wineries can be found a mile or so east; arrow-shaped signs on East Spain Street and East Napa Street will direct you.
