Los Angeles Nightlife

The Troubadour

The Troubadour Review

One of the best and most comfortable clubs in town, this wood-paneled, live music venue has a rich history dating back to the late 1950s when it was a folk club. After surviving the '80s heavy-metal scene, Troubadour caught a second (third? fourth?) wind by booking hot alternative rock acts. There's valet parking, but if you don't mind walking up Doheny a block or three, there's usually ample street parking (check the signs carefully).
