Sheraton Universal

Fodor's Review:

Because of its large meeting spaces and veteran staff, this Sheraton buzzes year-round. Business types come for the high-tech extras like automated check-in, convenient in-room coffeemaker with to-go cup, and numerous business services. Families appreciate the big pool and free shuttle to adjacent Universal Studios and CityWalk. Rooms are in cool blues and grays with flat screen TVs, iPod docking stations, oversize desks, and swiveling office chairs; contemporarily styled lobby. Pros: woodsy location straddling Hollywood Hills, Metro access, all new room furnishings. Cons: average, in-house restaurant, touristy.
