This hotel on Petersburg's main drag, a fixture since 1910, was rebuilt following a 1995 fire. You won't find much of the original charm, but what the Scandia lacks in quirky character it makes up for in hospitality. Some rooms have kitchenettes, king-size beds, or in-room hot tubs and harbor views. Fourth-floor rooms, including the suites, aren't accessible by elevator. Guests can get their caffeine fix in the coffee shop adjoining the hotel, take care of those split ends at the hair salon, or rent a car to explore "out the road." Homemade muffins and coffee are in the small but inviting lobby each morning.

I wish I checked this website before I stayed at this place. We had the same bad experiences with the staff. Very rude and mean. The rest of the town is very worth going to, but do not step foot into this place for anything or you will get a shovel full of bad attitude!

Very rude management. Got into a disagreement on charges and they were rude and threatening. They charged me for bogus items! I've talked to others who have had similar experiences.
