Fodor's Expert Review Mezcla
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
This South-American restaurant specializes in modern interpretations of Peruvian cuisine. Its aromatic dishes will win any wavering heart the minute the first dish arrives at the table. The simple decor of brick walls and dark wood is offset by the white tablecloth and the dishes' elegant minimalism. Zesty ceviches, beautiful fresh fish tiraditos (a Peruvian dish consisting of raw fish or meat slices in a spicy sauce) and savory duck heart anticuchos (skewers) rely on local ingredients like Québec duck, venison, lamb, and fish to give them a local twist and a certain je ne sais quoi. The restaurant offers two tasting menus: a five-course menu for C$39 or a seven-course menu for C$59.
