The Keefer Bar Review
The creative director of cocktails at the Keefer Bar has fully capitalized on the Chinatown connection, using ingredients sourced from local herbalists. Try one of their prescriptions: Lost in Chinatown, a blend of Yellow Chartreuse, Pernod, bourbon, and the exotic-sounding yun xhi syrup. Small plates of Asian dishes make good nibbling. The decor is dark and red, with hanging cylindrical neon lights. There's usually a weekly (and well-attended) burlesque night.
