It's worth the drive over the Lions Gate Bridge to West Vancouver for an evening meal or lunch at this 1912 seaside house. Whether inside the terraced room or on the heated beachside patio, most every table has views over Burrard Inlet and Stanley Park. The Pacific Northwest menu changes seasonally but creates accessible takes on meat, poultry, and seafood, including halibut or wild B.C. salmon. After your meal, you can take a stroll along the pier or the seaside walkway.

with the fireplace in the pub area, it is a perfect place to wind down and ascend the steps to a table with a magnificent view. The food was delicious, the service attentive and upon mentioning we were headed for whistler the next, shew suggested the restaurant dreams are made of...Araxi. don't let that detract from the superior quality of this establishmant, however.
