Although it looks unpretentious, the Minstrel is one of the few places that offers a taste of nightlife in Kelowna. The café-style menu includes sharing plates of tapas, gourmet burgers, pasta, sirloins, and curries—and all are very tasty—while the bar flaunts its style with provocative martinis and a thirst-quenching sangria. The real story is the live entertainment that usually includes an eclectic mix of blues, jazz, and folk music from a surprisingly impressive bank of talent. For that reason alone, reservations are a good idea as the place can be busy.
