Jasper National Park

In the northern half of the park, backpacking and horse-packing trips offer wilderness seclusion. The park's southern half rewards trekkers with dramatic glacial scenery. Day hikes are popular around Mount Edith Cavell, Miette Hot Springs, and Maligne Lake; Pyramid Lake and the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge are destinations for horseback riding.
