The latest American rock plays over an excellent sound system at Cabo Wabo, but the jam sessions with appearances by Sammy Hagar—an owner—and his many music-business friends are the real highlight. Plan way in advance if you would like to attend Hagar's Birthday Bash Week, as tickets sell out. It's a large venue, with a raised stage, a tall ceiling resembling an auditorium, the longest bar in town, and, if you're a VIP, your lounge is upstairs. Strong air-conditioning scores it lots of points in the heat of summer. One secret is to make dinner reservations, thereby avoiding long lines to get in the club. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served with extensive menus. An taco grill cooks up tasty munchies outside if you wish to cool off after dancing.

We were in Cabo for my daughter's Birthday last year, and after all the CABOWABO hype, we were excited to party there for a birthday.
The staff wasn't friendly at all, all they wanted us to do is buy t-shirts and crap. The so called waitress came by our table maybe twice in an hour...and we ended up having to make runs to the bar every few minutes. ( mind you we had 10 or so people in our group)...
We were very disapointed in the prices & service, expecially when we could go across the street for not only friendlier staff, but the beer was cheaper, too.
I did buy a tshirt though
