Top Dishes to Try

Whatever you're looking for, you'll find it somewhere in Los Cabos! From kosher to Mayan to grasshoppers, it's available here. For breakfast, the lobster omelet at The Office on El Médano Beach is a heavenly way to start the day, toes dug into the sand while you sip on a fruit smoothie. "Almuerzo," or lunch, anyone? Try the blue La Paz crab tostadas at the 7 Seas Restaurant in the Cabo Surf Hotel is a top favorite with the hungry surf crowd. Awesome Asian cuisine at the ME Cabo's poolside Nikki Beach Restaurant includes fried octopus with won ton and raspberry gazpacho. Unusual tacos con gusanos (or tasty toasted maguey worms) are a wonderful surprise for the adventurous diner at La Fonda Restaurant in Cabo San Lucas. Guava flan (also at La Fonda), or flan grande (the biggest slide we've EVER encountered—at Buzzard's Bar & Grill) are desserts sure to leave your mouth watering. At least once try a Mexican coffee after-dinner drink. If properly concocted it will be a lights-out, flaming floorshow, with sugar, Kahlua, 151 rum, vanilla ice cream, and, oh yes, coffee. Our favorite is at El Galeón.
