Boats from Batalla travel one to two hours to Raista/Belén and cost L150 per person. Return trips to Batalla must be arranged ahead of time, so have the staff at your hospedaje radio a water taxi to pick you up.

Direct expreso boats must also be radioed in advance for the six-hour expedition to Las Marías and cost between L500 and L700 per person, depending on the group size. If you forget to line up a boat for the next day, you might be lucky enough to join in another group's ride, but you might also end up stranded in Raista.
