The fun folks at Tikal Canopy Tour have expeditions that take you to the true heart of the rain forest—not on ground level, but more than 100 feet up in the air. In the canopy you'll see monkeys and maybe even a sloth. The tour, which costs US$30 per person, ends with an exhilarating 300-foot-long ride down a zip line.
