The 25 rooms of this Chinese-owned hotel and restaurant on the Hummingbird Highway near the entrance to Belmopan's Ring Road may make you think you're in an interstate motel in Alabama rather than in Belize's capital, but they're sparkling clean, with tile baths, air-conditioning, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and in-room phones. The restaurant on the first floor, among the fanciest in town (which says a lot about Belmopan), serves tasty and inexpensive, if uninspired, Chinese food, mostly Cantonese style.
