Fodor's Expert Review Suvretta House

Via Chasellas 1, St. Moritz, Graubünden, 7500, Switzerland Fodor's Choice

Outside St. Moritz, with stupendous views of Piz Corvatsch and Silvaplana Lake, the thoroughly charming Suvretta House encourages visitors to take advantage of the private ski-in, ski-out access to the Corviglia slopes just outside the front door, to skate on the ice rink in winter, to try the clay tennis courts and driving range in summer—or just to lounge by the indoor pool or outdoor hot tub. The renovated lobby and guest rooms are airy, light, and bright, with modern fabrics, contemporary furnishings, and views to the lake and mountains. Jacket and tie are requested in the main dining room, or opt for a more casual Swiss meal in the informal Suvretta Stube; there are also two off-site mountain restaurants serving up traditional fare. Kids may never want to leave the Kiddy Club, open to children age three and older; it's staffed by trained kindergarten teachers and includes the Teddy Club kids-only restaurant.
