Well placed in the midst of the Eixample, within walking distance of nearly everything in town, this newly outfitted, high-tech hotel offers much more value than many of its more expensive neighbors. From flat-screen TVs to free minibars, everything in the building, even the service, seems a notch above, especially if you can negotiate a weekend, low-season bargain. Spare, wood-paneled rooms, the outside pool, and the Mediterranean market-driven cuisine at Nichte, the hotel's restaurant, can make this refuge hard to leave. Pros: Bright contemporary lobby, friendly staff, high-tech equipment, well soundproofed. Cons: Somewhat antiseptic, airport-waiting-room design.

If you are looking for a modern flair in the heart of Barcelona, this is the place for you. Great Boutique-style hotel, walking distance from all of the attractions, even the water front. Free mini bar is a great perk, take whatever you want and they will restock it the next day. We would definitely stay here again! and choose AC Hotels whenever we are traveling to Spain!
