Fodor's Review:

Rooms here overlook a gracious inner courtyard framed by arches. The Castilian-style furniture, gleaming marble, and high-quality oil paintings add elegance to excellent value. The hotel is around the corner from the Plaza del Potro. The management also runs an even cheaper lodging, the Hostal Maestre, and two types of apartments down the street; the best apartments are large and clean and offer one of the best deals in town. Pros: Location, value. Cons: Beds flimsy and lumpy, plumbing functional but ancient.
