Fodor's Review

Whether you eat in the dimly lit dining room or on the street-level terrace, prepare to spend some time perusing a menu that is full of surprises. All dishes are superb and sophisticated, especially the eggplant stew with tomato, goat cheese, and smoked salmon, the Iberian pork with curried pumpkin and arugula, and the oxtail in phyllo pastry. Dishes come as tapas, half portions, or full portions—ideal for sharing—and the Argentinean-owned restaurant's vast glass-fronted wine cellar includes an extensive choice of Spanish vinos. It's near the touristy Alcázar and its popularity sometimes works to its detriment—it can get very crowded and noisy at times, when it would not be the ideal place for a romantic meal for two.
