Fodor's Review

The interior at this popular dining spot is fanciful, with Art Deco decor blurring into an Asian frenzy of rice-paper umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and an array of golden Buddhas. Chef K. Y. Lai's menu also runs the gamut, with Cantonese, Thai, Malaysian, and Vietnamese culinary classics; the drunken prawns (jumbo shrimp marinated in an intoxicating broth of Chinese herbs and Xiaoxing wine) earn rave reviews. In the summer, ask for a table on the "dream terrace" majestically set in a Golden Age courtyard.
