Fodor's Review

You'll have to look beyond the understated facade to spot fresh raw oysters from Normandy, aged Iberian ham and prosciutto hanging from the ceiling, or a pile of artisan cheeses waiting to be paired with a spicy homemade mostarda to understand how satisfying a meal here can be. Co-owner and chef Francesco combines the freshest fish (raw or cooked), choicest meats and cheeses, and vegetables to create his piatti unici platters. Opt for creative cichetti

at aperitivo time; salad seekers will be supremely satisfied here as well. Though there's an "official" menu, the staff will let you know what's freshest and suggest a wine to pair; just sit back and wait to be supremely satiated. If you're a beer fan, co-owner Andrea makes their own, Morgana. Caveats: no pasta, no risotto; and since Francesco prepares each dish himself, service can be slow on weekend evenings, especially after 8 pm.
