Ariston Review

The soothing, minimally decorated rooms offer a soothing respite in a city-center location, close to the lively Porta Ticinese shops and restaurants and the young people's fashion mecca, Via Torino. A self-proclaimed adherence to "bio-architectural" principles is most evident in breakfast (included), with a nice selection of organic, unprocessed foods.

    Ariston Review

This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the Duomo, so it's very convenient. It is clean and comfortable, though a bit "characterless", as Fodor's review states. The free breakfast is ample and includes several very healthy options. Parking (for a fee) is limited and tight, but right in front of the hotel and for someone arriving late at night and exhausted as we were, worth the fee.

Going to be in Venice for 3 days in August (know it will be hot!) and since my group of 6 has been there before, can anyone suggest some interesting and/or unusual tours or activities? Thanks in advance Read more
