French Paradox

Fodor's Review:

Like the people of the south of France who inspired the place, relaxed but stylish would best describe the decor and dining at this little restaurant above a wineshop. French Paradox has found a real niche in the Dublin scene. Wine buffs, Francophiles, and gourmets flock here for the hearty traditional fare and Mediterranean environment. Share the assiette le fond de barrique, a selection of charcuterie, pâté, and cheese, or perhaps indulge in a selection of cured Irish fish or a choice from the foie gras menu. Select a nice bottle from the ground-floor wineshop (mostly French labels) and sip it in situ for a mere EUR 8 corkage fee. Seating is limited.
