Drechsler Kastély (Drechsler Palace)
Drechsler Kastély (Drechsler Palace) Review
Across the street from the Operaház is the French Renaissance-style Drechsler Palace. An early work by Ödön Lechner, Hungary's master of Art Nouveau, it was formerly the home of the National Ballet School. At one point, it was being remodeled to begin a new life as a hotel, but following it's scandalous sale to a foreign company, the building remains unutilized following some renovation work.
