    Porto Veneziano Review

BEWARE CARD SCAM AT THIS HOTEL
On the 12 January 2012 I paid for my accommodation with my credit card. The transaction was processed twice and a credit to the value of R3385.00 was supposed to have been done.(To date, 4 June 2012 I have not received it) On my return home I contacted the hotel to enquire about the outstanding credit. I was given an apology and an offer of a discounted rate if I decide to stay there in the future. Small compensation given the large amount owing to me.I was told it was not the hotels problem - I had to take it up with my bank. I have kept in constanct contact with my bank but they say the hotel is not accepting the charge back. Sad, sad sad!!
