Pfeffermühle Review

For three decades chef Siegbert Walde has offered guests classic cuisine in elegant surroundings. The 18th-century house on the northern edge of town has two stories of cozy niches, with beautiful table settings in shades of pink; the terrace directly overlooks the Mosel. Foie gras is a favorite ingredient, served in a terrine or in Eisweinaspik (ice wine aspic). White wines from the Mosel's finest producers and top red Bordeaux wines make up the excellent wine list.
