Located on the eastern edge of Schloss Nymphenburg, this collection of 14,000 plants, including orchids, cacti, cycads, Alpine flowers, and rhododendrons, makes up one of the most extensive botanical gardens in Europe. Take Tram 17 or Bus 41 from the city center.

Open: Garden Oct.-Mar., daily 9-4:30; Apr., Sept., daily 9-6; May, Aug., daily 9-7. Hothouses close 30 min earlier and during lunch 11:45-1 in summer
