Bus

National Express buses leave London's Victoria Coach Station for Bristol (2½ hours), Exeter (4–5 hours), Plymouth (5–6 hours), and Penzance (8–10 hours). Megabus offers cheap service to Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Newquay, Bodmin, and Falmouth (book online to avoid premium-line costs). There's also a good network of regional bus services. First buses serve Somerset, Devon, and Cornwall, and Stagecoach South West covers mainly south Devon and the north Devon coast. Dartline Coaches has a small network in Devon, and Plymouth Citybus operate around Plymouth and north and east Cornwall. First and Stagecoach South West offer money-saving one- or seven-day passes good for unlimited bus travel. Traveline can help you plan your trip.
