This Georgian redbrick house has the perfect location right on the city wall and overlooking the River Dee. Meander through the picture-filled passages to find the rooms, the best of which have four-poster beds. Rooms are named after astrological signs, but the furnishings are straightforwardly traditional. The amiable hosts don't stint on breakfast choices: Parma ham with melon and pineapple is one popular choice, and a bacon-and-mushroom sandwich is another.
