Fodor's Expert Review 71 Nyhavn Hotel

Nyhavn 71, Copenhagen, Capital Region, 1051, Denmark

In this well-preserved former spice warehouse, the rooms are tiny but cozy, with warm wooden spreads, dark woods, soft leather furniture, and crisscrossing timbers. It all overlooks the old ships of Nyhavn. The thick plaster walls are adorned with paintings by prominent Danish painters, including Jens Jørgen Thorsen, Asger Jorn, and the hotel's own founder, Alf Arp-Hansen.
