Converted from a Jesuit school, this excellent centrally located hotel with spacious rooms is a two-minute walk from the main square. The decor goes for a historical feel, with lots of scrolly dark wood. A few rooms have drop-dead views of the castle, so ask to see several before choosing. Note that some double rooms have two narrow single beds, whereas some singles have beds large enough for two. The restaurant offers top-notch dining in a setting that's formal but not stuffy.
