Heldenplatz
Heldenplatz Review
The long wing with the concave bay on the south side of the square, the Neue Burg, is the newest section here. The Neue Burg was never completed and so the Heldenplatz was left without a discernible shape, but the space is punctuated by two superb equestrian statues depicting Archduke Karl and Prince Eugene of Savoy. The older section on the north includes the offices of the federal president.
