The vaulted cellars of this 500-year-old building were once stables for Emperor Maximilian's horses; now they host glittering events in atmospheric surroundings, and the hotel attracts those in search of a romantic experience. Most guest rooms are creatively decorated—the Swarovski Dream is a suite with a crystal bathroom (and crystals in the ceiling over the bath), and a turreted corner sitting area. The rooftop terrace offers an eye-popping view of the city and the mountains, and is the ideal place to enjoy an aperitif. The small spa is one of the most intimate in Innsbruck.
