Fodor's Expert Review Rasmushof
Hermann Reisch Weg 15, Kitzbühel, Tirol, A-6370, Austria Fodor's Choice
It's hard to imagine a better choice for a Kitzbühel stay than this superluxurious but relaxed former farmstead, with unrivaled year-round proximity to outdoor activities. In winter, there's a ski lift just steps away and a great view of the Hahnenkamm World Cup downhill course. In summer, you can use the nine-hole golf course, with a kitchen garden beside the 4th green. Run with devotion by owner Signe Reisch, the heavily timbered and balconied building is drenched in everything Tyrolean, and full of plush furnishings and antiques (including an ancient beehive, a headboard from 1832, and a 1712 chest). Every room is different, but each has a balcony. The extensive wellness area has an indoor pool.

- ski-in ski-out in winter
