A gemütlich atmosphere enfolds in this blue-shuttered Relais & Chateaux chalet hotel, with murals, flower boxes, and a wood-paneled interior of extravagant luxury. Some of the suites are huge, with canopied beds and bathrooms that are a work of art. The à la carte restaurant Post Stuben (dinner only) is one of the two best in town. Try the medallion of lamb or grilled salmon, and save space for one of the outstanding desserts. The restaurant Kutscherstuben serves excellent regional dishes 10–10, but if the weather's nice, try to get a table on the garden terrace.
