Fodor's Expert Review Gasthof Badl
Haller Innbrücke 4, Hall in Tirol, Tirol, A-6070, Austria
For a short stay, this gasthof can fit the bill at a budget price, offering a warm welcome and rooms that are sparkling clean, with all the comfort you need for an overnight stay. This is a prime example of how Austria proves time and again that you don't only get what you pay for—you often get a lot more. The gasthof was originally built in 1676 as a public bathhouse with six bathrooms; its name means "the little bathhouse." Bathrooms were a rarity in private houses then and a visit here was, apparently, quite a luxury.
