Book NowCoconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa Review
The only resort in Vieux Fort, Coconut Bay is a sprawling (85 acres), family-friendly seaside retreat minutes from St. Lucia's Hewanorra International Airport. The ocean views are beautiful, and the beach has lovely white sand; but the resort faces the Atlantic Ocean, so swimming in the sea is not advised. Instead, you'll find three swimming pools and a water park with a lazy river, waterslides, and swim-up bar. The resort is divided into two sections: Harmony is for adults only; on the opposite side of the property, Splash is the tropical playground for families with kids. The Frégate Island and Maria Islands are just offshore, and St. Lucia's Pitons and other natural attractions in Soufrière are 45 minutes by car. Otherwise, you'll have to be content with the activities in and around the resort—four restaurants, a full-service spa, and plenty of space to relax and socialize.

This resort kept running out of bananas for the drinks - pretty sad when the island's major export is bananas!! They kept running out of everything, actually. The DJ at the disco wouldn't play any requests, the food was only average, seaweed was so bad they use heavy machinery daily to pick it up off beaches. The wind NEVER stops blowing, spend the extra bucks and stay on the west side of this island - water was much calmer and clearer, 100% better all around.
