Tucked into a tropical garden, this popular in-town restaurant known for its barbecued ribs, beef fillet, and rack of lamb is consistently one of our absolute favorites. Fish-market specialties like red snapper cooked in a banana leaf or grilled tuna are good here, as are grilled duck with mushroom sauce and a skewered surf-and-turf with a green curry sauce. The blackboard lists daily specials that are usually a great choice, like a salad of tomato, mango, and basil. Pierrot, the friendly owner, is sure to take good care of you.

This is one of my favorite restaurants on the island. It serves most of the St. Barths favorites: spiny lobster, accras, etc. The dinning room is an open-air garden in Gustavia. Our flank steak was exceptionally good.
