Fodor's Review

Tucked into a tropical garden, this popular in-town restaurant, also known as Pipiri Palace, is famous for its barbecued ribs, beef fillet, and rack of lamb; it is consistently one of our absolute favorites. Fish-market specialties like red snapper cooked in a banana leaf or grilled tuna are good here, as are grilled duck with mushroom sauce and a skewered surf-and-turf with a green curry sauce. The blackboard lists daily specials that are usually a great choice, like

St. Marcellin cheese roasted in a crock of honey.
