Coyaba Beach Resort Review
Coyaba, whose name means "heaven" in the Arawak language, is one of a handful of hotels with direct access to beautiful Grand Anse Beach. The rooms are in pavilion-style buildings that surround a 5½-acre garden of palm trees, hibiscus, frangipani, and bougainvillea. All rooms have a view of the sea from a private patio or balcony. The island's Amerindian heritage influenced the resort's interior design, which includes teak furniture, colorful fabrics, and local artwork. But this is not a rustic environment. The accommodations are modern, and the decor is beautifully serene. Four rooms are accessible for guests with disabilities.
