Getting Here and Around

Carlton is served by the many Swanston Street tram routes that terminate at Melbourne University (located in Parkville, just west of Carlton). Trams 1 and 8 extend north beyond the university, turning into the top end of Lygon Street. Alternatively, catch a bus (No. 200 or 207) from Lonsdale Street to Carlton.
