Maruyama Koen (Maruyama Park) Review
Many people cut through this park, which lies near Yasaka Jinja and between Chion-in and Gion, when sightseeing. This is a popular venue for drinking sake outdoors during the cherry-blossom season, and vendors are usually around to supply refreshment. From Kyoto Station, take Bus 206 to the Higashiyama stop; the park is north of Kodai-ji.
