Fodor's Expert Review Jumeirah Beach Park

Jumeirah Beach Park is Dubai's most popular public beachfront park, with a sandy strip that stretches nearly two-thirds of a mi. A lifeguard is on duty throughout the day with a first-aid and resuscitation center, and sun beds and parasols can be rented on the waterfront. Inland, the 32-acre park has grassy lawns and shady trees, cafés, and barbecue pits for cooking. Toilets and showers and a children's play area complete the facilities. Many Sheikh Zayed Road and Bur Dubai hotels run free shuttle buses to the park. Monday is for ladies only.
