Many consider Jerusalem's veteran Japanese restaurant the best of its kind in the country, with its authentic (specially imported) ingredients and high standard of food and presentation. The sushi/sashimi combination is a must for enthusiasts, or try the salmon teriyaki, jumbo shrimp tempura, or chicken yakitori. Vegetarian options are also available. Cleverly renovated, the old structure preserves and illuminates its honey limestone through a glass facade by day and soft lighting by night. An intimate loft-like upstairs room, a sushi bar, and a few tables in the entrance courtyard give a range of options.
