For an entire week this spring, downtown Baltimore will transform itself into an interactive art festival. Light City Baltimore will feature 23 large-scale light art installations, 35 concerts, and over 200 performances. Each of the nine nights–from March 31 through April 8–will have a unique theme with plenty to see and food and drink from all over the world.
Last year, 400,000 visitors dubbed the 20-foot-tall illuminated robot peacock a crowd favorite. This year even more exhibitions–including virtual reality experiences, and a structure that lets participants turns sound into light–are expected to draw in even more visitors. And for out of town guests, local hotels, restaurants, and attractions will offer daytime events for plenty to do all day long.
