Which airline ??

We are checking prices and schedules for one way flights between Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and BI. So far we have checked Hawaiian Air, Go! (which is Mesa?) and Island Air. Does anyone have a particular preference among these -anyone to avoid? This is our first trip. Thanks. We appreciate your help.

It may depend on your departure city. We like Hawaiian Air from Seattle.

The flights are under an hour at most. Pick the one that has the best fare.

If you prefer a larger jet go with Hawaiian (Boeing 717 or 767).

Go! (Mesa)uses smaller jets: CRJ-200s.

Island Air uses Turbo Props.
instead of jets.

Also, if you have accumulated Frequent Flyer miles, Hawaiian Air partners with many US airlines so you can redeem your miles for Interisland flights.

Go is credited with forceing Aloha into bankruptcy and thus aren't real popular with some.
Aside from that luggage maybe the determining factor as Island Air is more restrictive on weight.

Reply to hulajake,
Indeed, we regret saying aloha to Aloha.

Reply to GBC,
Another airline to consider that will expand into jet interisland service as of Nov.19:
