Im Going to Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre on May 15th. I want toe it in Row N seats 2 & 4. Do you think that these would be good seats. Any suggestions would help! Thanks.

Have you bought these tickets yet? Are you getting them from a scalper? Or are yuou just assuming they will be available (highly unlikely) at this late date.

Yes, I agree this show is still sold out every night, so get whatever tickets you can get and enjoy the show. I have a friend in the pit and he says the show is still full everynight, so grab the tickets asap.

Perhaps the OP is getting the tix from a reseller but nonethe less...

You have reviewed the seating chart to see that the seats are on the aisle?

Are you looking for people to say there is a pillar in your way or some other obstacle because from the seating chart those seats look really good.

Those are wonderful seats. I love sitting on the aisle seat of a side section as I can stretch out better, and particularly the seat on the aisle gives a nice view with no heads in the way, although that really isn't much of an issue in The Gershwin anyway as the seats are nicely elevated.

Thanks so much. This really helps. We got those seats, and wanted to make sure we wouldn't be blocked in any way. Thanks again.

There's no way I'd want to sit in row T instead of N -- why would you want to be further back? Others might disagree about D 101 and 102 (assuming you mean in orchestra and NOT in the mezzanine), but I'd grab those first. That is the ninth row, on the aisle. In my book nine rows back is far enough to fully appreciate the spectacle of the show, yet still see expressions on the faces of actors.

But Row D won't be obstructed or partial view?

No. It's in the center of the theatre, 9 rows back? What could possibly obstruct the view?

Being further back in the Orchestra would be fine as long as the first mezzanine isn't above your head.

Are you looking at the seating chart on the Gershwin's site? Obstructed seats are clearly indicated in the pricing.

No, Row D is a great location! Buy the tickets and enjoy the show. I'm <green>green with jealousy! (Not really - actually happy that you get to see my favorite show).

If this is your first time seeing Wicked, you will enjoy this so much!!!!

If it isn't, then you already know that.
