Why do you like Paris?

Yes, I know, I know, this is the US board. But I know most of you on here and haven't ventured to the other boards yet. And the few times I have, they are very slow.

So, thought I would start here, if no one objects. I know many of you have been and mention it often. I am torn about going for 25th anniversary. So, thought I would start a little digging to see what is so great about the city.

So, why do YOU like, or love, Paris???

So why don't you venture over there and ask .. get to know the participants. And yes, I object.

I can't believe you found the Europe board to be "very slow".

Why don't you want to ask your question there?

Actually, 21 more states have Paris.

There is one in CA, but I've never heard of it! Somewhere between Lancaster and Santa Clarita.

Asking this question may get you a detailed description of Paris TX....Just kidding you.
I am sure many here have been to Paris France and can tell you why they loved it.
How about a question that asks Where in the world would you take your spouse for your 25th anniversary? And Why?
I am sure you will get many interesting and informative responses!

What do you find slow? The Europe board itself, or the people posting there?

I agree that the Europe board is anything but slow - it's probably faster moving than this one. And Paris is a frequent topic over there.

But, girlonthego, Heavens hasn't stated in this thread that there's more to the story. The first choice is Alaskan cruise vs. Europe. The second, if Europe is chosen, is where. Heavens did get lots of feedback on that topic, and you can click on her name to find that previous thread.

I agree, you'll get no shortage of answers on the Europe board. In fact, this question has probably already been asked and answered there more than once. Now that the search function works reasonably, it's probably worth a shot to use it.
